Meet Hena
My name is Hanifa, but you can call me Hena.
My passion for fashion started when I was only a teenager. I would design semi formal clothing for myself and my friends. As I got older, my love for fashion only grew. I would always keep up with the latest fashion trends and I continued to design clothing for myself, my family, and my friends. People would ask me at weddings which designer I was wearing. In 2016, my friend Mariam’s daughter was getting married, and she asked me if I could help bring her daughter’s vision to life. She encouraged me to start my own business.
Since I started Hena’s Kapray, my team and I have helped over 70 brides bring their dream wedding into a reality. Although we are based in Toronto, we have worked with brides all over the globe. This includes Pakistan, the US, UK, India, Bangladesh, Australia, and more.

Our process
Our first step is getting to know you, your vision, design preferences, budget and timeline. We encourage you to bring any inspiration pics you need to help us better understand your vision. If you don’t have any preferences – that’s okay too! We will help you decide colours, embroidery patterns, styles etc. We use our fabric look book to confirm which materials and colours you like.
During this stage, we also take your measurements. For virtual consultations, we guide you on how to take your own measurements.
Once you are ready, you can call, email, message, or DM us to place an order. Please note that we require all our clients to put down a 50% deposit when placing an order. The remaining 50% is paid when the order is sent out for delivery or picked up.
This step is all us! We work with our team to bring your vision to life!
